Job Summary	The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences seeks an Instructional Lab Coordinator to support the General Chemistry teaching labs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing solutions and experiments maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the teaching labs maintaining instrumentation, including: MeasureNet measurement probes ovens hot plates balances stir plates dishwashers etc. daily restocking of lab supplies prior to the beginning of the class period assisting teaching assistants (TAs) and undergraduate instructional assistants (also known as undergraduate lab assistants, ULA) with laboratory operations ordering and storing chemical reagents, prepared solutions, and disposable containers maintaining inventory of routine instructional chemicals and supplies
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities	Basic knowledge of chemical laboratory safety, safe use of chemicals, and chemical waste disposal; Microsoft Office suite; strong attention to detail; strong planning and organizational skills.
