Physical Requirements May require sitting for long periods, using a computer for extended periods, and going from place to place on campus. Occasionally will travel off campus.
Shift Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm usually, occasionally requires more hours outside that period and on the weekends.
Job Summary The Deputy Title IX Coordinator will report to the Title IX Coordinator and Director of Investigations and investigate and help to ensure the timely resolution of assigned reports of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct involving members of the University community. Assist the Title IX Coordinator & Director of Investigations with the University’s Title IX compliance efforts. Assist the Title IX Coordinator & Director of Investigations by providing subject-matter expertise on the requirements of and compliance with Title IX, VAWA, the Clery Act, FERPA, and related federal and state laws. Collaborate with UKPD to ensure accuracy in reporting annual crime statistics, as required by the Jeanne Clery Act. Oversee training for all student-athletes and UK Athletics staff in accordance with NCAA compliance requirements for Title IX.

There is an internal employee being considered for this position (IEBC).
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities In-depth knowledge of University policies and procedures, federal and state equal opportunity regulations, and Title IX regulations. Requires significant discretion and independent judgment—the ability to maintain confidentiality.
