Job Summary | The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a talented individual to manage faculty affairs for basic science faculty across all College of Medicine campuses. The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs – Basic Sciences will report to the Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and will focus on opportunities to support the success of our faculty in our basic science areas. Associate Dean role will be allocated 50% administrative effort. Remaining effort to be determined based on candidate’s qualifications. Duties will include providing support and expertise for appointment, promotion and tenure processes; implementation and assessment of research faculty compensation plans; support for faculty performance evaluations; developing, implementing, and enforcing applicable policies and procedures; and providing career development for basic science faculty.
