SUMMARY: The Early Post-Secondary (EPSO) Coordinator will develop and maintain partnering relationships with schools, business, and industry partners to promote the ideals of Stride's career and technical education pathways.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.


  • Assist with prospective student's enrollment needs and have knowledge of entire process, including admissions requirements, articulating and evaluating education credits in early post-secondary enrollment (EPSO) including Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement Classes.

  • Responsible for ensuring that each prospective student has the necessary enrollment paperwork to enroll; maintains waiting list of prospective students for each program; ability to utilize enrollment process systems.

  • Responsible for Dual Enrollment grant process for high school students and early post-secondary credential alignment, including Advanced Placement courses.

  • Develops network of Dual Enrollment network contracts (TCAT/Community Colleges) to ensure students can easily transition to post-secondary courses.

  • Career counseling; assists students with employment needs such as employment tips, workshops etc.

  • Recruit students for all programs.

  • Read and interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures accurately to students and parents.

  • Prepare, submit, and maintain records of reports as required.

  • Participate in in-service training, workshops, and other programs which provide professional growth.

  • Tracks data for dual credit/Advanced placement enrollees and graduates for completion/graduation.

  • Serves as liaison with educational, industrial, and advocacy partners to encourage cooperation and partnerships.

  • Serves on special committees and task forces as program area specialist. Promotes equitable participation for special needs students in non-traditional programs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned in the fulfillment of the needs, philosophy, and purpose of the school.




Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.



MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university AND

  • Three (3) years of work experience in a secondary or post-secondary education environment with dual enrollment or career and technical education experience

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience




OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

  • Ability to clear required background check
