Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain pricing and profitability models


  • Monitor daily market prices that are used for loan pricing and loan sales


  • Establish daily rate sheet used by origination staff and third parties to price loans


  • Update loan origination system with daily pricing and pricing adjustments


  • Constantly monitor best sales execution in the marketplace in order to maximize gain on sale and to provide competitive pricing to the loan production channels


  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting for gain on sale, mortgage risk management committee and asset liability committee, as well as other management reporting including business reviews and quarterly earnings calls


  • Participate in and manage Secondary Marketing Operations and the team supporting those functions, which include the Rate Lock desks and loan sales


  • Create and maintain policies and procedures that promote company-wide consistency and compliance


  • Maintain strong working relationship with internal partners, Investors and Correspondents


  • Assist with CRA loan purchases as needed


  • Hybrid opportunity - three days a week in Southington, CT.



Education, Experience, Skills:



  • In depth knowledge of Secondary Marketing/Mortgage Banking including all applicable regulations and laws


  • Demonstrated ability to profitably price, execute and manage loan sales


  • Experienced Encompass/Optimal Blue user (or similar LOS/Pricing Engine)


  • Must be a results-oriented individual that performs well within a high stress environment. Strong detail orientation and analytic skills required.


  • Ability to lead a small team as a working manager


  • Clear and professional communication and interaction with other leaders and their teams


  • Moderate level Microsoft Excel skills with demonstrated ability to manipulate and analyze data using formulas, macros, pivot tables


  • Experience creating, maintaining and analyzing reports using software such as Excel and Tableau


  • Ability to learn various software applications as needed


The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
