The Employee Compliance Technology team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET CORE, Angular, MongoDB, Autosys, and Production Support. We are in the process of developing a new greenfield application for our Registration and Insurance Licensing business partners We have an exciting new project for an in house build of an application using modern frameworks, CI/CD, and cloud technologies. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills.
Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of C#.NET experience
2+ years of .NET core
2+ years of Angular experience
2+ years of Unit Testing
2+ years of experience with NoSQL Database like Mongo DB, Cosmos DB
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of Agile experience
2+ years of SOLID development
Jira and Confluence experience
Experience with Compliance Technology applications
Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests with xUnit, NUnit, or other similar frameworks.
Experience using continuous integration & delivery with tools such as GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, Harness
Experience or knowledge of distributed systems, API's, and message based systems
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience
Experience in optimizing UI for desktop and mobile
Knowledge and experience implementing common design patterns to build applications
Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
