About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Growth to report directly to the CEO and shape Zenie from 0 to 1.

You will be responsible for building the core growth strategy that brings people to Zenie. Zenie is located in San Francisco and New York; ideally this important role is also based in one of those locations, though we are open to a fully or partially remote position.

Job Overview: As the Head of Growth, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to dramatically increase our user base. You will work closely with the founder and developers to identify opportunities for growth, optimize marketing channels, and drive innovative campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Your role will encompass both high-level strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy that targets significant increases in user signups.
  • Brand Awareness: Enhance brand visibility and awareness through innovative marketing campaigns, partnerships, and PR initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, measure campaign effectiveness, and iterate on strategies for continuous improvement.
  • User Acquisition: Drive user acquisition through a mix of paid, organic, and viral growth tactics, optimizing for cost-effective scaling.
  • Content and Social Media Marketing: Create and oversee content marketing strategies, leveraging social media to engage with and expand our audience. Manage social media content creators. Identify trends and respond to comments.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to amplify growth efforts and reach new audiences.
  • Experimentation: Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to refine and enhance marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the growth marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a growth-focused role, preferably in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in significantly scaling user acquisition and increasing brand awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Customer obsession and interest in working in a fast-paced AI company.
