Position Summary:

Genius Avenue is looking for a Sr. Level Systems Administrator that can also provide first contact support to end users, resolve issues or triage and escalate as needed. In this role, you will also provide on-site hybrid support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems, and will be an integral part of Genius Avenue's growth and mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
• Configure and manage Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms in Azure.
• Build, install and configure infrastructure-related software.
• Mac & PC Support
• In-person, phone and email support (Walk-up help desk).
• Collaboration with other departments on project implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.
• Support Genius Avenue values.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Shall have a minimum of four (4) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Microsoft courses and certifications:
• AZ-900
• AZ-104
• MD-102

Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding networking components is desired.
• Some Linux experience is desired.

Security Requirements:
• Must pass a background check.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $65k - $80k/Annually
