Boutique corporate law firm client of Addison Group's seeks Senior Corporate Associate for office location in Chapel Hill, NC. Candidates must live within commutable distance as this position will require two days in office each week.
Responsibilities:
Lead or assist M&A transactions and venture findings- due diligence, negotiation, drafting and editing transaction documents
Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance and other corporate matters
Prepare pro formas and waterfalls for financing and exit transactions
Supervise paralegals and other junior team members as needed
Requirements:
JD from accredited law school plus at least 6 years professional experience counseling startups and emerging growth companies on M&A and financings
Exceptional communication, negotiation, client service and relationship management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions
