Job Description:

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Division of Infectious Diseases is accepting applications for a faculty position on the Clinician-Educator track, starting July 2025. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary Orthopedic/Musculoskeletal Infectious Disease Service providing inpatient and outpatient patient care, engage in educational activities for all levels of learners, and have opportunities to participate in clinical or translational research programs focused on orthopedic infections.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is the largest comprehensive research, teaching, and patient care health system in the Mid-South region and includes a Level 1 Trauma Center, a high-volume Transplant Center, a multi-disciplinary Wound Care Clinic, and the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the region. The VUMC research enterprise is ranked in the top 10 nationally, with robust programs in quality improvements, bioinformatics, personalized medicine, and clinical investigation.

The Division of Infectious Diseases is comprised of 61 full-time faculty, 9 advanced practice providers, and 14 Infectious Diseases fellows, with support from 4 dedicated Infectious Diseases pharmacists.
