Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Senior Estimator at Summit Commercial Roofing. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including conducting site visits to gather project information, performing detailed quantity take-offs, analyzing blueprints and specifications, preparing cost estimates and proposals, coordinating with project managers, and reviewing project progress. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials
Experience in quantity take-offs and cost estimation for roofing projects
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Proficiency in construction estimating software
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
Experience in project management is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus
