This is a Tech firm scaling rapidly to prepare for an IPO. We use EOS to operate and the baseline body of knowledge we use are the publications: Traction + Rocket Fuel ( Geno Wickman), and Art of War (Sun Tzu) combined with The 5 set book series Strategyzer [Business Model Generation, Value Proposition Design, Testing Business Ideas, High Impact Tools for Teams, and the Invincible Company] (Alex Osterwalder)

Role Overview:

As the Director of Operations at DiversyFund Inc., you will implement operational strategies and improvements, focusing on process optimization and leveraging methodologies from Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Continuous And Never-ending Improvement (CANI). Your responsibilities will include scaling the company, systematizing processes, integrating technology to automate, simplify, and delegate tasks, and executing and project managing systems designed by the integrator based on the book "Traction." You will play a critical role in driving substantial revenue and profit growth through strategic alignment and operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Leadership
  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the COO and executive team to ensure operational strategies support overall business goals.

Process Systemization and Optimization
  • Design and implement systematic processes for operational consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to streamline operations.
  • Continuously monitor and refine processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.

Technology Integrations and Optimization:
  • Oversee the integration of advanced technology and software solutions to automate tasks, eliminate inefficiencies, and simplify processes.
  • Implement systems for seamless task delegation and workflow management across departments.
  • Ensure a robust and scalable technology infrastructure supporting growth objectives.

Detailed Implementation and Execution:
  • Manage the implementation of operational improvements, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Oversee process improvement projects to optimize operational activities.
  • Work closely with the operations team to implement and optimize technology-driven processes.
  • Execute and project manage the systems designed by the integrator based on the book "Traction."

Operational Management and Execution
  • Manage daily operations related to both real estate and business assets.
  • Oversee property management, financial management, and asset upgrades for optimal performance and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Revenue and Profit Growth
  • Drive initiatives that contribute to substantial revenue growth and profitability.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize returns and minimize operational costs.
  • Align operational activities with financial goals and performance metrics.

Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Implementation of Strategic Tools
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment driving high performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Utilize strategic planning tools to communicate the company's vision and operational goals.
  • Facilitate planning sessions to ensure strategic alignment and clarity on operational priorities.
