Academic Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent degree in social work, psychology, sociology (or other relevant organizational degree).


OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in social work, psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science plus five years of experience as the director of a program for children and adolescents, or administrator of large organization; or five years of progressive project management on projects demonstrating advanced levels of growth and success Work experience:



Work Experience - Experience in senior management, multi-tasking high priority projects, plus two or more years in a supervisory role. Experience in development, oversight, and management of multi-million-dollar program/projects preferred. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skill set is a must. Extensive experience in crisis intervention and capacity to provide sound, safety- and child-focused guidance for personnel and children in the field. Experience serving survivors of human trafficking required. Administrative capacity knowledge of and/or experience in childcare programming; residential youth program management, staff supervision, program development, quality assurance and evaluation, is highly preferred. Bilingual a plus.



Summary: The Regional Director provides intensive 24/7 supervision, support, and direct intervention when necessary for all regional in-field services for survivors of human trafficking. The position requires exceptionally sound judgment, continuous availability for personnel, and a passion for both supporting survivor recovery and personnel success.



Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:



1. Ensure all survivors referred to and served through the program receive immediate, trauma-informed, and relationally focused intervention 24/7, without fail, in adherence to the program model.


2. Demonstrate and regionally instill the program culture of flexibility, transparency, safety, professionalism, unconditional positive regard, sound judgment, community collaboration, and 24/7 commitment to survivor recovery.


3. Ensure seamless communication and transparency regarding case interventions and program directives, to ensure every survivor's and staff member's safety and well-being are at the forefront of service delivery.


4. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and forecasting a multi-million-dollar regional budget(s).


5. Ensure regional personnel are equipped and sufficiently trained to provide highest quality service and to avoid vicarious trauma.


6. Responsible for overseeing programmatic trends (labor distro reports, turnover), utilizing quarterly dashboard updates to senior leadership.


7. Develop & manage program expansion within designated geographical region.


8. Implement agency, state and federal policy and procedures, including adapting to existing standardized practices across the program and division, to ensure regional compliance with national standards.


9. Participate in continuous process development and guide team positively through change management.


10. Represent the program at regional and other stakeholder meetings, fostering strong relationships with community partners.


11. Ensure all state/federal contract requirements are met accordingly.


12. Responsible for best facility (facility upkeep/appearance), best staff (workplace satisfaction surveys) and best program (youth satisfaction surveys, monitoring surveys & inspections).


13. Assumes fiscal responsibility; maintain region within budget and all expenses explained (verified) to support business necessity.


14. Policies and procedures will be updated (as needed) and implemented to promote best practices - programs to be always current.


15. Assigned offices are well maintained (facility in good working order), clean, organized, landscape always manicured and ready for tour.


16. Meet or exceed all program deliverables for the region, including (but not limited to) survivor engagement rate, advocate response times, mandated reporting and service coordination, unwavering compliance with safety protocols, personnel retention, measures of survivor recovery, and 24/7 accessibility.


17. Maintain 90% or better compliance record with contracting entities, internal and external audits.


18. Maintain less than 10% annual staff turnover rates.



Requirements:


1. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens


2. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request


3. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background check


4. Demonstrate the ability to:


a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics


b. Work in a fast-paced environment and always maintain emotional control and composure


c. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position


d. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team


5. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Human Trafficking Interdiction Division policies and procedures.
