Job Summary:



The Solutions Delivery IT Department is currently seeking a Director, IT Property & Casualty Data with a strong technical background and experience with managing and motivating people to join our team in Zionsville, IN. An ideal candidate will have a passion for data analytics, innovation, problem solving, and mentoring. The Director of IT will be responsible for devising and overseeing implementation of strategies for enterprise data solutions to support our Property and Casualty business partners data needs.



Main Accountabilities:



  • Lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality insights and solutions to support Property & Casualty business sector.

  • Evaluate, select, and implement the right tools and technologies to support data storage, processing, and analysis to meet the high-level business needs while encouraging innovation and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define data-driven strategies and initiatives to generate data solutions that are able to succeed in the rapidly changing environment.

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of data-driven initiatives, adjusting as needed to ensure efficient outcomes.

  • Coordinate the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations and provide requested insights for various collaborators.



  • Driving results, remaining agile, and making timely decisions to respond to changing priorities.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in information management, computer science, or technically related area.

  • 10+ years of experience in data management and analytics, preferably in the Property and Casualty insurance industry

  • 5+ years' experience with SDLC and/or Agile in a technical environment

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

  • Strong technical knowledge of T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, PowerShell, SSIS, Data Factory, DevOps and Azure Platforms

  • Experience with scripting (Python, Powershell, TSQL)

  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, with both technical and non- technical team members.

  • Analytical Problem-solving skills applied to issue identification and resolution.
