General Tech (Tooling/Machine Float) at Indiana Furniture Industries Inc in Jasper, Indiana

Job Description:

All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.

General Tech-Machine Float must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

Understand the tooling life and tooling change schedules
Effectively communicate with outside vendors
Organization and upkeep of the tooling/supply cage
Machine setup and operate of variety of machines such as CNC, Saws, Banders and others as trained.
Machining and Mechanical skill required.
Good eye for detail is required.
Ability to work alone.
Ability to multitask.
Make decisions.
Maintain safe work environment.
