Research Project Coordinator

Coordinate, oversee, and implement operational services for the UVM Office of Health Promotion Research(OHPR) in support of their research projects and programs. Develop and maintain processes for regulatory compliance for a large portfolio of research grants, including human subjects approvals, data use agreements, and material transfer agreements. Develop and maintain websites and other informational materials for the UVM OHPR and associated research projects. Act as the liaison between partnering consortia and department to ensure smooth collaboration on multi-site research projects. Evaluate and recommend standardized protocols and methods in support of consistent and effective processes across collaborating institutions. Maintain tracking records for databases and repositories. Oversee maintenance of files and records. Participate and develop programs designed to support or enhance quality standards and program visibility.
Bachelor's degree1-2 years experience in project managementStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlinesAttention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Experience with healthcare quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and/or population-based rural studies or cancer research.Experience working in collaborative settings with academic, healthcare, state, and/or federal partnersKnowledge of applicable compliance requirements and processes related to data sharing and human subjects research
$23.50/hour - $27.50/hour
