POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Redmond-based client is looking for Support Engineer for a remote based position.



Responsibilities

  • Interpersonal and relationship skills proven through work experience.
  • Passion for lifelong learning and personal and professional development
  • Research, Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills - Thinking logically and demonstrating use of available resources.
  • Ability to work shifts in hours outside of local business hours and/or work a shift that covers a weekend day once ramped/trained if there is a business need.


Qualifications

Experience in one or more of these areas is desirable:

  • Must have 7 years’ experience with Dynamics
  • Must have 5 years’ experience with Sequel
  • Must have 5 years’ experience with X++
  • Dynamics 365 F&O Functionality: In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O modules including finance, supply chain management, manufacturing, retail, human resources, etc.
    Experience in ERP systems like Dynamics, SAP, PeopleSoft, NetSuite ERP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Epicor, and/or related
  • Excellent Communication Skills: verbal, listening and written.
  • Experience in customer facing service role in any capacity.
  • Customization and Configuration: Ability to customize and configure Dynamics 365 F&O to meet specific business requirements, including modifying entities, forms, workflows, and reports.
  • Data Migration and Integration: Proficiency in data migration strategies and integration techniques between Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems, using tools like Data Entity Wizard, Data Management Framework, and Common Data Service.
  • Lifecycle Services (LCS): Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Lifecycle Services for managing implementations, updates, and deployments, including environment management, issue diagnostics, and monitoring.
  • Power Platform Integration: Understanding the integration possibilities with the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to extend and enhance Dynamics 365 F&O functionalities.
  • Security and Role-based Access Control: Implementing security measures within Dynamics 365 F&O, managing user roles, permissions, and ensuring compliance with data security standards.
  • Report Development and Analytics: Proficiency in building and customizing reports using tools like Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and leveraging analytical capabilities within Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Business Process Automation: Skills in automating business processes using workflows, business events, and the Microsoft Power Automate platform for increased efficiency.
  • Development Skills (X++, .NET): Knowledge of programming languages like X++ for customization and .NET for extending functionality in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Upgrade and Patch Management: Understanding upgrade paths, applying patches, and managing version upgrades of Dynamics 365 F&O while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and providing effective technical support to end-users.

  • A competitive pay range of $45/hr- $47/hr (depending on experience).
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
