Position Overview
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities Include
• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling mechanisms.
• Create and maintain data models using SQL Server and Azure Analysis Services.
The ideal candidate will have
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex IT projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
