Job Summary Monitor and troubleshoot operation of machines as well as application of components for a continuous process flow during the production run.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
Feeding cans to production line.
Inserting valves and actuators into filled cans.
Applying the correct tip on the can.
Checking for weights and leak of filled product in cans.
Adhering labels and sleeves to cans during production runs.
Placing caps on filled product.
Packing finished products into cartons for shipment.
Preparing finished carton to meet
Proper specifications for shipping.
Stacking finished product on pallets within customer specifications for shipment.
Prepare start-up paperwork per machine specifications
Maintain operation of machine throughout the production run
Set-up machines and makes adjustments
Verify product specifications are correct per manufacturing instructions
Comply with the current SQF requirements for food manufacturing and trained in all required food safety / quality programs including but not limited to Personal Hygiene, Allergens, Sanitation, HARPC, Organic Processing, Food Defense, and Security and Threat Awareness
Responsible for reporting any food safety, quality and employee safety issues to management

Able to climb ladders
Able to climb stairs and/or production stairways
Safety Requirements:
Ability to be constantly alert of surroundings
Ability to work in a safe manner
Wear and use required PPE
