We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter Shop Supervisor to lead our client's team in Amesbury, MA on a direct-hire basis. This position is crucial for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, efficient shop operations, and timely project completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, ensuring quality workmanship and efficient project completion
Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members
Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration
Plan, schedule, and oversee carpentry projects from start to finish
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Coordinate with other departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications and requirements are met
Manage daily shop operations, including workflow, materials, and equipment
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client specification
Address any issues or defects promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary
Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow
Manage resource allocation efficiently, minimizing waste and optimizing productivity
Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter Shop Supervisor or similar role
Extensive carpentry experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and safety regulations (tight tolerances, wood doors and HM frames, hardware prep, cabinetry, etc.)
Proficiency with woodworking tools such as table saws, routers, and skill saws
