Job Description:

Job Description: Boutique firm in West Los Angeles seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal with 5-7+ years of experience to assist their team. The ideal Insurance Defense Paralegal possesses strong knowledge of document review, can comfortably maintain 1800 billable hours annually, and has experience conducting discovery and summarizing legal documents.


Job Duties:


- Manage interrogatories and other discovery requests to support legal teams.


- Summarize and organize deposition transcripts, medical records, employment histories, and technical blueprints for trial preparation.


- Conduct pre-claim investigations, perform legal research, and provide initial case evaluations.


- Efficiently organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.


- Serve as the liaison between trial teams and internal or external third parties.


- Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, notices, and pleadings.


- Perform document review by identifying relevant documents, tagging and coding, conducting privilege reviews, redacting sensitive information, summarizing findings, and maintaining accuracy and consistency.


Candidate Requirements:


- 5-8+ years of experience as a paralegal in Insurance Defense


- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
