Position Summary: Sales Support Representative
Sales support representative supports Key Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers in day-to-day functions to assist in managing territories.
Responsibilities:
- Provides detailed, high-level support to Regional Sales Representatives and Regional Manager
- Acts as a liaison between Sales Team, Customers, and Internal Departments
- Account Maintenance - ADF Completion for New account, new product item numbers, specification changes, price change. New customer credit applications and credit reference requests.
- Responsible for SOX compliance within respective territory. Provides data and response for external and internal price audits.
- Management of Complaint process. Enter all complaints into Salesforce; follow-up to ensure timely completion of investigation and creating formalized response to customer complaints.
- Management and administration of all Index and Market price adjustments within region including system updates and correspondence to customer including maintenance of customers mailing lists
- Respond to customer requests; spec sheets, marketing materials and certifications as well as Surveys and RFI's
- Investigate customer short pays within region. Make corrections to system as to not to pro-long, short pays, issue credits when approved.
- Assist territory reps with RFQ preparation
- Assist with Drop Trailer initiatives within region and process drop trailer agreements.
- Attend and participate in SSR Team Meetings
- Various other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
- Detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a highly diversified work environment
- Strong customer service advocacy and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office Suite - basic to above average computer skills including Excel
- CRM experience preferred
- Sense of urgency
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Occasional travel may be necessary
Functional Skills:
- QAD or Solomon experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Salesforce (CRM) plus
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and concise writing skills
