Job Description:

Waltham 2 days per week

Working with our strong cross-functional program team, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This work includes planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed the entire way.

Section 2 - Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:
• Develop a high-level scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with inputs from the larger working team.
• Work collaboratively with internal team members and contractors to develop the project scope.
• Assemble cross-functional project team to establish development, design and construction requirements, milestones and budgets while driving adherence of the frameworks, policies, procedures, controls and reporting necessary to drive an efficient and effective approach to project management.
• Review project reports and performance metrics to monitor the project's progress according to the plan and guide the resolution of any major issues.
• Lead financial report outs and sanction process for all projects.
• Lead project team to ensure project scope, designs and delivery solutions are innovative, efficient, fit for purpose and prevent creep.
• Ensure the delivery of projects including the schedule, cost and specification are within governance requirements. This includes project initiation documents, project execution plans and management of schedules, resources, budgets, quality, and risks.
• Provide accurate and timely monthly project status reports covering milestone progress, risk management, current and forecast financial performance to ensure robust tracking and reporting against the long-term plan.
• Track dependencies, risks, plans, costs and resources for each project and dependencies across interlinked projects.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program progress

Section 3 - Qualifications and Experience

Required experience:
• Project Management or Project Development experience is required.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Ability to coordinate across functions and multiple teams.
• Considerable proven experience in direct project management including scheduling, forecasting, milestone management, resourcing, risk management, reporting, and possess team leadership and influencing skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, integrity, and ability to interact with company personnel, contractors, and regulatory representatives in a positive collaborative manner.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints. Bottom-line oriented, budget conscious, metric/measurement driven.
• Ability to create a high-energy team climate whereby team members can discuss relevant issues freely and where there is a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Strong skills in: project management, stakeholder engagement, presentation, interpersonal, oral & written communication, critical analysis and capable of leading and influencing teams, and gaining support and commitment from a wider operational group.

Preferred experience:
• PMP certified
• Working in a scaled agile environment
