Western U.S. foundry has opening for Molding and Pouring Supervisor to oversee day to day operations in a small-midsize foundry. Candidate will oversee about 15 employees in the molding and mold pouring area of the shop. Duties include calibrating and maintenance of no-bake (furan) molding machines. Helping molders with gating and rigging problems, insure molds are properly identified and prepared for pouring. Coordination with melters to make sure molds are poured with correct alloy, ladle additives and ladle weight.
Supervisor will occasionally need to help out with large jobs or when key molding employees are absent.
Foundry experience with no-bake molding and induction melting are preferred. Experience with various grades of Iron and Steel are a plus. Spanish speakers are a plus.
