Breakfast/Lunch/Snack Supervisor at Mirabel Hotel & Restaurant Group in Carmel, California

Job Description:

Job Objective:
Ensures effective operation of F&B operations by overseeing all breakfast/lunch/snack service. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, leadership, and staff and schedule oversight. Coordinates with Chef/GM to assist with tasks including sales and marketing efforts, social media, ordering, facility maintenance needs, inventories and maintaining appropriate labor cost. Ensures all nightly paperwork and daily accounting and cash management is accurate.
Key Areas of Accountability:
Maximizes and ensures guest satisfaction in F& B service.
Involved and active in all F&B operations.
Performs all service and operating procedures in an exemplary manner.
Ensures department standards are implemented and maintained.
Enforces company policies.
Ensures daily, weekly, monthly reports are complete and accurate as needed or requested.
Communicates and provides operational feedback and staff performance feedback to Chef/GM
Assists with maintaining inventories and ordering systems, responsible for effective ordering practice to optimize sales and cash flow.
Ensures daily checklists are completed by all staff and closing reports are thorough and accurate.
Ensures self product knowledge and operational knowledge is exemplary, and provides help to staff constantly.
Maximizes revenue through maintaining and implementing sales techniques including updating social media outlets.
Maintains excellent standards of Health and Safety in line with hotel policy and CAL/OSHA requirements.
Maintains a teamwork orientation toward and among co-workers.
Ensure Cross Referrals and recommendations among Mirabel properties.
Promote and maintain good working relationships with your Mirabel counterparts.
Work with and train restaurant and other Mirabel property staff on product knowledge to ensure effective cross-sell as needed or requested.
Ensure complete Secoya courtyard set-up and closure.
Ensure guests are greeted in a warm and timely manner.
Cross train and assist in other areas as needed.
