Manage and maintain all IT network-related hardware and software components, including in-office switches, routers, firewalls, virtual network interfaces, servers, and cloud networks.
Ensure hardware and software firmware comply with enterprise security standards.
Monitor and maintain network services to meet customer expectations and adhere to security and compliance policies.
Infrastructure Design and Expansion:
Collaborate with the market operations team to assess, design, and implement new in-office network infrastructures supporting employees.
Work closely with IT teams to support network expansions and enhancements for new products, tools, and third-party network connections.
Inventory and Maintenance:
Maintain an inventory of corporate network hardware and software, ensuring components meet manufacturer-defined life-cycle requirements.
Manage third-party contract services, such as domain registrations and internet service providers.
Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
Proactively research, analyze, identify, and resolve network utilization trends or errors.
Implement performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques to meet employee expectations.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
Document system administration processes, operational procedures, and maintain network architecture diagrams.
Professional Development and Compliance:
Stay updated through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.
Ensure alignment with industry healthcare practice standards (HIPAA and HITECH).
Support and Leadership:
Provide after-hours support for corporate network performance issues.
Supervise, mentor, and train IT Infrastructure Network Engineering team members.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications/training/experience in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Preferred experience in healthcare IT.
Network Infrastructure Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in configuring, installing, and maintaining corporate network infrastructure technologies.
AWS and Active Directory Integration:
Three (3) years of experience with building and supporting an AWS environment integrated with Microsoft Active Directory.
Experience implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Azure Active Directory Domain Services, AWS Identity authentication services, and Office 365 network integration.
Network Protocols and Troubleshooting:
Broad knowledge of network routing protocols, switch protocols, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and other network protocols.
Additional Skills:
Ability to provide after-hours support as needed for corporate network performance issues.
Willingness to travel to corporate office locations for network implementations and maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
