JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervising Senior Associate - Tax

KEY OBJECTIVE:

Chubb is looking for a Supervising Sr. Associate - Tax to assist in the preparation of tax provisions as well as US Federal and state tax returns for a large US multinational company that includes both insurance and non-insurance companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with preparation of US GAAP tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 and statutory tax provisions in accordance with statutory requirements
• Timely preparation/review of federal income tax returns for both insurance and non-insurance subsidiaries
• Timely preparation/review of state and local tax returns, including income tax, premium tax, property tax and sales and use tax
• Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies; assist with state tax audits as needed
• Prepare computations related to and processing of quarterly/periodic estimated tax payments
• Research tax law to confirm tax positions taken on returns are appropriate
