The role will determine the labor and material resources as well as time required for each planned maintenance event (PM/CM/Outage/other planned activities). The role is responsible to develop and support an effective integrated planning and scheduling system with Production to allow an overview of all maintenance plans that may interact with the manufacturing unit's equipment. This role will oversee the optimum utilization of the resources and spare parts with minimum impact in asset availability. They will ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Main activities and accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure up to date key process indicators and actions as well as relevant information to all stakeholders.
Ensure that management is practiced, that effective performance review structure Develop/Maintain a comprehensive equipment work and cost history database
Ensure highly planned utilization of technicians and on-time work completion utilizing lowest possible completion cost with minimum disruptions to equipment operations.
100% PMs scheduled and completed on time. 100% compliance with all regulatory requirements
Ensure that all maintenance plans (internal or by contractors) are compliant in terms of safety, regulator and operational compliant with BD requirements, ensure liaison and material management and reliability.
Support the development of optimized preventive maintenance plan, delivering key objectives, goals, and strategies for work planning, including safety, regulatory and budget requirements.
Manage all planned and scheduled maintenance activities and ensure elimination of de-lays due to waiting for information, materials, equipment, other skills, and tools.
Facilitates proactive continuous improvement ideas that lead to measurable improvements, through Kaizen action sheets, 5S and other lean principles including blitzes, Shift Start-up, updating KPI boards, lean lite, etc.
Manage priorities and control maintenance status realization and propose actions for backlog reduction without risk for Operations.
Monitor and control recorded hours, ratio between preventive and corrective maintenance, planning index, schedule adherence and backlog trends and maintenance costs to identify priorities, trigger revision of frequency, duration and or resources in the maintenance plans and potential improvement projects. are in place and that measurement and review drives continuous improvement projects of the systems of his/her responsibility.
Coordinate the work order generation based on maintenance plan and notifications/service requests, with production planning to increase the planned work.
Ensure that all work meets all the required technical and EH&S specifications.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma/GED: Required
Associate or Bachelor's Degree- Preferred in technical field
Minimum Experience:
3 years' experience in manufacturing preferred
Mechanical repair or service experience is desired.
Computer experience in Windows, Lotus Notes, word processing, spreadsheets, database, and SAP applications preferred.
Must possess good communication, math, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
