Provides professional financial project management for designated projects and programs at a client site, campus, and/or facilities. Interacts with client representatives onsite, receives direction and coordinates with the client team. Monitors and coordinates the execution of the various financial services and processes to support the organization's strategic targets. Works independently or with minimal supervision to deliver sophisticated financial analyses and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manages financials, budgets and reporting for specified projects and programs.

  • Understands and synthesizes how different projects interlink and overlap.

  • Researches and prepares financial reports; Performs sophisticated analysis including scenarios; Forecasts trends

  • Monitors and tracks incremental progress, and ensures timely communication of status, schedule, risks, and opportunities.

  • Complies with all tracking and reporting requirements associated to projects and programs within scope.

  • Ensures relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld.

  • Prepare agendas, develops, and maintains master budgets and timelines for each project and project phase to ensure overall project financial objectives. Keeps client always apprised of progress.

  • Reviews and processes requisitions, orders, change orders and invoices associated with the project and confers with client on costs, budget, schedule, impacts, et al.

  • Examines and analyzes financial information such as budget, capital expenditure, depreciation, operational expenditure and presents insights / forecasts / opportunities in meaningful ways for client decisioning.

  • Produces a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports and packages for the client to support project / program needs.

  • Adheres to corporate, facility and client policies and procedures.

  • Collaborates with the client team to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrates continual development of financial modeling skills and competencies as deliverables will increase in complexity and scope over time in role.

  • Track record of converting complex financial information into logical constructs.

  • Superior attention to detail, applying root cause analysis when problem solving.

  • Does not shy away from challenging goals and persists until commitments are met.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

  • B.S. Degree in relevant field or commensurate experience

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in financial analysis/reporting

  • Minimum of 5 years project / program financial management experience with demonstrated success supporting a large-scale financial program/project.
