Job Description:

The Senior Compensation Analyst is a Corporate Human Resources member responsible for implementing and assisting in the compensation administration processes. The Senior Analyst serves as a liaison to Human Resources and management to propose, implement, and revise compensation practices and policies and resolve compensation-related issues globally. This role is a hybrid opportunity, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from our Global Headquarters located in the Spring, Texas area. Mondays and Fridays remote.


What You Will Do:


Compensation Administration and Reporting

  • Gather relevant market data on pay practices, programs, and economic trends as needed.
  • Assists with preparing, implementing, and distributing global salary structures.
  • Evaluate salaries for new hires, promotion job offers, or other ad hoc adjustments as requested.
  • Maintenance of employee and job information in the compensation database.
  • Generates various internal HR metrics reports, ad hoc compensation reports, and analyses as requested.
  • Generates scheduled ABS HR data reports for external sources.
Job Descriptions and Evaluations
  • Reviews, monitors, and approves job descriptions and other HR Documentation via ETQ through discussions with HR Generalists.
  • Ensures job descriptions are in place and accurate for roles.
  • Reviews FLSA exemption status and determines appropriate categorization for jobs.
Market Data, Analysis and Salary Surveys
  • Completes salary surveys and maintains results for the organization worldwide.
  • Performs and reviews market data and conducts reviews of internal jobs.
  • Participates in annual salary surveys and ad hoc annual salary analyses.
Annual Merit and Incentive Programs
  • Assists the manager in the annual merit and incentive process as needed.
  • Answers questions or provides additional guidance to HR Generalists on organizational philosophy, pay for performance, or system-related issues.

What You Will Need:


Education and Experience
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Typically requires 5-7 years of previous related experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • CCP, GRP, SPHR, or GPHR certifications are preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Must communicate effectively with employees and leaders from all levels of the organization.
  • Obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.

Reporting Relationships:


The incumbent reports to a Manager or Director and does not have direct reports.
