Job Requirements:
- Ability to safely operate all plant loaders.
- Ability to service loaders, including lubricating the chassis, checking batteries, transmission, and differential, and checking tires for proper inflation.
- Knowledge of plant layout and materials storage so that materials can be delivered promptly.
- Ability to operate mechanical truck loading equipment efficiently, as required.
- Conformance with all applicable safety rules and regulations.
- Will be required to perform all duties assigned by supervisor.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Must possess the ability to detect and respond to safety hazards and equipment malfunctions in accordance with safety rules and standards.
- Work in various environments, including weather variations and exposure to fine lime/limestone dust (personal protective equipment is supplied by Graymont)
- Should be capable of doing minor mechanical repairs on conveyors belts and related equipment.
- Must be computer literate.
- Will be required to maintain and keep all areas clean so equipment will work without interferences from buildup.
- Will be required to do daily inspections and minor maintenance including, but not limited to, monitoring of oil levels, and greasing of equipment.
- Will be required to maintain dust control when needed.
- Will be required to do all duties as assigned by a supervisor.
- Current Driver's License is a strong asset.
- Over 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Desired
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and excellent communication skills
- Be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot/problem solve.
