Caterpillar is seeking a Human Resources Technology Specialist to our Global HR Operations, Automation and Employee Support Division. What you will do:
• Optimizing process design and tools to meet the changing needs of the business
• Working with other functional analysts to design and prototype cross-functional solutions
• Participating in system testing to ensure the successful deployment of application enhancements and releases
• Investigating and resolving human resources technology issues, unexpected results, or process gaps
• Basic level of configuration and process design
• Troubleshooting, analyzing and correcting technical issues of low complexity
What you will have:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a related field. Workday knowledge.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; Identifies issues and communicates with others when a decision needs to be made.
Collaborating and Influencing: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company and present the findings.
Human Resources Operations: Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies, operational processes, and considerations; ability to implement HR related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Cites examples of functional and non-functional requirements.
Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.
Workday HCM: Knowledge of all the core concepts of Workday HCM; Ability to use Workday HCM for workforce planning as per the business needs.
