Job Description:

Procurement Buyer



Our client, a higher education research institution, is seeking a Procurement Buyer to join their team! This role will be a hybrid working schedule in Cambridge, MA, only requesting one day a week in the office! The ideal candidate will have procurement experience within a life sciences or higher education working environment but it is not a requirement.



Responsibilities:

• Purchase standard and non-standard materials, supplies, equipment


• Monitor supplier performance


• Monitor inventory


• Maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers


• Conduct cost analysis


• Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries

Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience in procurement field


• Customer service experience preferred


• Knowledge of Coupa system preferred
