Job Description:

Global Manufacturing/Distributiion company is looking to add a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations of the business.



Responsibilities:

• Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include AP, AR, and payroll.


• Perform month-end closing activities and maintenance of an accurate general ledger.


• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.


• Assist in preparation of financial estimates.


• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.


• Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting policies and procedures.


• Provide daily financial guidance to ensure the business is meeting financial objectives.


• Assist in strategic financial, accounting, and operational projects.


• Administer company internal control policy and adhere to US GAAP


• Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is needed


• 10+ years of experience


• CPA preferred
