Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Medical Biller to join our team in Pasadena. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, with specific experience using Office Ally software. This role involves managing patient billing processes, ensuring accuracy in claims submission, and following up on outstanding claims.



Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Office Ally software to process and submit medical claims accurately and efficiently.


• Review and verify patient information and insurance details.


• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and guidelines.


• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely resolution.


• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients regarding billing inquiries.


• Maintain accurate records of billing activities and patient accounts.


• Assist with resolving billing discrepancies and issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a medical biller, preferably in a healthcare setting.


• Proficiency in using Office Ally software for medical billing.


• Strong understanding of medical billing codes, procedures, and insurance processes.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time position, with flexible hours to be determined.
