Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk



Location: Montebello, CA



Pay Rate: $27 -$30/hr.



Schedule: M - F, 8 - 5



Type: Direct Hire | 100% On-Site



Duties:



Small Manufacturing company of 100 employees. The AR Clerk will be the right hand of the Accounting Manager and will take complete control of the Accounts Receivable duties using Sage 100 as well as assist the CEO with other administrative duties as needed.

• Manage accounts receivable processes including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.


• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue accounts.


• Prepare and send invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.


• Process incoming payments and reconcile them with the accounts receivable ledger.


• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments.


• Communicate effectively with clients regarding payment status and resolve any billing inquiries.


• Assist executives with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and making travel arrangements.


• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for executives as needed.


• Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.


• Manage executive's email inbox, filtering and prioritizing messages as necessary.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Accounts Receivable: billing, collections, credit memos, ACH Payment posting, cash application, etc. experience - required


• BA degree - preferred but not required


• Sage 100 - nice to have


• Bright and Quick learner
