Job Description:


We are seeking reliable operators to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for unloading mixer(s) and following all site health and safety regulations along with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).



Tasks:



Applicant must be able and willing to perform setup and cleanup tasks, have direct contact with raw product, inspect raw product for foreign materials, unload product into the mixer and use various hand tools. Applicant must have the abilities to perform various assembly line duties that may include but not limited to processing, packing, labeling, stacking, standing for long periods of time, bending squatting, open bags/ boxes, remove frozen molds from mold pans, and load slicer machine. Applicant must be able and willing to lift, push, pull, and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 2.5 - 50lbs).



REQUIREMENTS:

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.


• Applicant must have the ability to work in a cold/warm (-30 degree up to 115 degree) wet environment and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.


• Applicant must be available for overtime and some weekends.


• Applicant must be willing to be crossed-trained and move to other areas when needed.


• Applicant must tolerate the smell and sight of raw materials.


• Applicant must follow GMP requirements that may include wearing hair net, beard net, white frock coat, cotton, and latex gloves.


• All candidates must successfully complete a health assessment and drug screening within 48 hours of receiving a job offer. Those who do not complete or refuse to take the assessment and/or screening will have their offer of employment rescinded.

  Must have 3 months of work history with the same employer.

  Candidates who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be considered. Minimum waiting period for rehires is 90 days.
