Language Interpreter at Nemours in Wilmington, Delaware

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing Interpreting services and some written translations for inpatient, outpatient and emergency areas of care at Nemours Children's Hospital. Interpreter will provide services in the consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation modes of interpretation. The interpreter will interpret spoken language for patients, families, and hospital staff to facilitate safe and reliable communication between everyone involved.

Verified fluency in English and Spanish is required, including extensive bilingual vocabulary in medical terminology. Completion of Bridging the Gap or similar training program is required. Certification as a Medical Interpreter is preferred.
