Team/Project: Looking for an individual contributor who has a background in Quality w/ Project Management skills to be able to run Manufacturing Quality Issue Resolution with different support functions. Will be interactive with a range of team members from Operations to Field Product Support. Job role will cover Drivetrain products produced at Caterpillar. This position will be responsible for supporting Drivetrain's Zero-Defect Culture within the manufacturing facility. They will handle workload and projects within the Drivetrain product and manufacturing space that will ultimately lead to root cause/corrective action activity to proactively driving quality improvements impacting the shop floor as well as the external customers. Work closely with Operations, Operations Quality, Engineering, and Drivetrain Quality teams.
Top Skills:
10+ years of exp in manufacturing, factory quality, project management, data analysis, critical thinking to help resolve issues.
Exp facilitating and execution of analyzing data, shop walks, team meetings, driving team activities/actions, and full execution of projects thru completion, etc...
Exp w/ Microsoft products ...Excel, PowerPoint
Education: Prefer them to have Engineering Degree, if they are Ex-CAT with 10+ years of related exp but no degree she will consider them.

if they have worked at ** before that will be highly desire because they already understand our processes.
Need to be very comfortable on the floor, not a machine level role but boots on the ground heavy gear , bit loaders, mine loaders , big gears, assemble more.
Manufacturing type of environment , quality engineers , design engineers , that they will be interacting with. Will be interacting with a ton of other managers.
a lot around managing people and projects - won't have any direct reports, when they do have issues they would need to take them to Nicole.
