Job Description:

Day to Day: As a Head of Capital Market Lead they will be specializing in private equity, you will play a crucial role in managing our investors' capital allocated for commercial real estate projects. Your primary responsibility will be to secure funding by attracting investors and lenders to our portfolio of exciting ventures. You'll collaborate closely with our team and external partners to ensure successful project financing.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to raise equity and debt capital for real estate investment projects, considering market conditions, investor preferences, and the firm's financing needs.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders, financial institutions, and other potential capital providers to expand our investor and lender base and secure favorable financing terms.

- Collaborate with internal teams to structure investment opportunities that appeal to both equity investors and lenders, including negotiating terms, structuring joint ventures, and crafting investment presentations and offerings. In addition, responsibilities will include overseeing the execution of the marketing process to include investor presentations and property tours

- Reviewing financing term sheets and preparing bid matrices

- Responsible for complex financial modeling of projects and capability to underwrite a transaction.

- Lead the due diligence process for potential equity investors and lenders, providing them with comprehensive information on investment opportunities, financial projections, market analysis, and risk assessments.

- Stay informed about market trends, financing options, regulatory changes, and other factors that may impact our capital raising efforts and leverage this knowledge to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.

- Build and lead a high-performing capital markets team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Collaboration with senior team members in identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business initiatives

Must Haves:
  • Minimum of [7] years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, real estate finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully raising equity and debt for real estate investment projects.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, investment structures, financial modeling, and valuation methodologies.
  • Strong network of relationships with institutional investors, lenders, financial institutions, and other potential capital providers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment opportunities and secure favorable financing terms.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proven leadership ability, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
