The Manager of Digital Asset Syndication will report to the Director of Digital Merchandising. This position is responsible for managing and facilitating digital asset syndication for all brands and categories across Hanesbrands North America. Digital asset syndication is a key workstream within the Digital Merchandising team that is responsible for wide-scale syndication and optimization of digital content across all digital touchpoints in order create the best possible consumer experience. This position will highly leverage technology to scale and accelerate syndication of these digital assets.



Responsibilities



  • Develops & implements digital asset management strategies inclusive of establishing procedures & guidelines for asset creation, storage, retrieval and archiving to optimize digital assets lifecycle

  • Handles asset management, syndication & distribution of different digital assets types (images, video, audio & more) across various digital touchpoints

  • Leverages technology as a way to scale and accelerate the syndication of digital assets, which may include serving as a subject matter expert or key stakeholder in new system integrations related to digital assets

  • Serves as the Business Solution Owner for the internal DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform alongside the Lead Technical Owner helping to outline user stories, solution & define processes, requirements, scope, & deliverables for business needs

  • Participates in testing system updates & enhancements before production releases

  • Oversees the digital asset contract renewals process

  • Manages internal/external syndication endpoints, retailer specific requirements, change requests, content audits and gap analysis

  • Identifies discrepancies, inaccuracies or missing content and then recommends or takes the appropriate corrective actions to resolve

  • Collaborates & communicates cross-functionally with key stakeholders to understand their digital asset needs & ensures the DAM platform meets their requirements

  • Enables cross-functional business process workflows to establish new/more efficient operating rhythm in order to scale and accelerate digital content

  • Assists in managing the day-to-day workflow and tools for the creative teams, internal stakeholders and external departments

  • Participates in the coaching & training of individuals & teams regarding the digital asset management system, best practices, uses, etc.

  • Works closely with creative services and post production to insure digital asset metadata standards are met

  • Conducts reporting & analytics, which can include asset usage, expiring assets, performance metrics, contact sheets, etc.

  • Experience in managing direct reports & non-direct reports




Qualifications



  • Minimum Education/ Experience:Bachelor's degree with 7+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred Education/ Experience: Master's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce B2C and retailer environments, specifically within product content delivery and maintenance

  • Experience working with an enterprise-class Digital Asset Management (DAM)

  • Experience working within an enterprise-class Product Information Management (PIM) system strongly preferred.

  • Experience managing multiple types of digital assets at scale

  • Proficiency in technologies that support creative and marketing teams, such as Adobe Creative Suite

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual ability
