Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Admissions Director to join our team. The Admissions Director plays a crucial role in welcoming new residents and their families to our facility. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions process, from initial inquiry to move-in, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, providing information about our services and amenities.


• Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents and their families, highlighting our various programs and offerings.


• Coordinate the admissions process, including completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required documentation.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, case managers, and discharge planners to facilitate timely admissions.


• Maintain accurate records of admissions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.


• Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and maximize revenue.

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare admissions, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care admissions processes.


• Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing skilled nursing facilities.
