Responsible for a range of functions to ensure the smooth operation of the HR and payroll activities within the organization. Coordinates with the other department members to perform a variety of clerical duties as necessary to prepare, record, and disburse assigned payrolls in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Enters or uploads employees' time worked as needed
Acts as Corporate Payroll Liaison for, and responds to, client base in an appropriate manner
Communicates with Division Representatives to reconcile payroll issues
Maintains employees' files in coordination with Human Resources
Calculates, compiles, and distributes wages and salaries
Prepares regular reports and summaries
Prepares internal Accounts Payable invoices for liability disbursements
Audits and verifies recorded transactions and reports irregularities to Management
Maintains accurate records
Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred or a High School Diploma, GED, and/or Associate's degree with equivalent qualifying work experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Familiarity with payroll procedures and automated payroll systems
Able to use computer software including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Able to maintain confidentiality
Possesses an aptitude for figures and is detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines
