Sr. Traffic Engineer

What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Sr. Traffic Engineer to serve as the authority in a particular area (i.e. discipline or specific market practice area) of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area. Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications. Works on multiple major projects with complex features as a technical lead.



Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design & documentation of a technical solutions for a specific discipline or specific market practice area.


• Manage & maintains project documentation for specific discipline or practice area.


• Brings significant technical design expertise engaged in the identification of design considerations and potential issues, participates in the research and development of solutions to engineering and other technical challenges, and is involved in the production or validation of the work applied to those solutions.


• May support PM as a technical leader on large complex projects.


• Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.


• Assists leadership and staff as a technical advisor.


• Leads complex technical portions of meetings with clients.


• Develops strong relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.


• Performs other duties as requested.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited program. Minimum 10 years of engineering experience. Registered PE.


• Provide overall market practice area or discipline leadership.


• Utilization rates align with goal.


• This role has individual sales goals for specific clients and/or primarily single discipline opportunities. Develop and implement a plan to meet this sales goal.
