Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Limited in Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking Senior Systems Engineer. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infra Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rio Rancho, NM, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 1 year of Information Technology experience
• Manage the Network after hours for IT support
• Detect, trouble-shoot and resolve technical and functional issues reported by the customer and end users and ensure 100% system availability.
• Interact with end users and other IT teams to understand and resolve issues.
• Conduct: Installation of WinClient PCs onsite in customer factory.
• Follow the client's Clean Room access and process procedures.
• Complete: Installation and Troubleshooting of Windows Operating Systems on WinClient PC's.
• Conduct: monthly inventories of equipment, maintaining lab cleanliness, receiving equipment shipments, and proper disposal of garbage, recycling, and e-waste.
• Use the client's internal ticketing system and install tracking queue (TIPR) to handle work tasks and report any roadblocks preventing job completion.
• Follow up with groups to schedule installs, confirm installs were completed properly; Scout install locations in the factory may also be required prior to installation.
• Lead the support function and manage the work performed by a combination of company technicians and Vendor Technicians. This includes shift management and out-of-plant notifications.
• Produce Weekly and on-demand reports needed for both Internal Infosys purpose as well as for the client.
• Support company leads and managers with data and analysis to drive innovation and Service Excellence.
• Walking, lifting PC's, using hand tools, and cabling PC installs are a regular part of the daily work.

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
