Job Description:

The RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care within an assigned Telemetry Unit. Coordinates care, planning, and implementation with other disciplines, for the adolescent, adult, and older adult (geriatric) patient.Southern California Hospital at Culver City has been taking care of generations of Culver City and west LA residents. We are a full-service, acute care hospital with a 24/7 emergency department and nationally recognized patient safety. Now at 420 beds, SCH-CC is a general acute care hospital that utilizes many of the latest medical treatments and technologies. The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient acute care services, including an orthopedic center, cardiovascular services, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute care, psychiatric care and chemical dependency programs. Additionally, SCH-CC operates a 24-hour emergency services center, which serves as a paramedic receiving station and is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and nurse specialists. \n

• One to two (1-2) years recent nursing clinical experience in an acute hospital setting.


• Graduate of an Accredited Professional School of Nursing.


• Bachelor of Science (BSN) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree preferred.


• Current American Heart Association (BLS), (ACLS) Certification.


• Current RN license.

Pay Range: Min: 52.10 / Max: 77.86Provides nursing care to adult to geriatric medical and post-surgical patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Monitors cardiac arrhythmia throughout the unit and provides care to medical patients.

Provide care to behavioral management patients that require monitoring. This unit will care for oncology and orthopedic patients that require telemetry monitoring.|Provide care to post-operative surgical patients (abdominal, orthopedic, gyn).

Provide care to patients with complex medical conditions such as GI bleed, CHF, abdominal pain, stroke, respiratory diseases, diabetes, renal, behavioral, with a diverse age group, and the geriatric population, etc.

Recognize, interpret, and initiate appropriate actions based on arrhythmia monitoring.Provides nursing care to adult to geriatric medical and post-surgical patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
