PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead strategic thinking on FORTNA's Growth initiatives and go-to-market strategy
Lead our strategic thought process on organic and inorganic growth leveraging and/or creating differentiated strategic partnerships
Lead strategic planning approach and key company value creation activities
Organize, resource, plan and target, build relationships and execute strategic partnerships
Partner with senior leaders (BU leaders, functional leaders, etc.) to align priorities, resources, and roles ensuring joint accountability.
Drive strategic growth initiatives by leveraging our ability to build, buy and/or partner
Drive results that positively impact company EBITDA
Drive standards for project execution and delivery excellence. Build a track record of results that creates trust and followership.
Help establish a robust operating cadence, reporting and management system(s) that will deliver key value creation initiatives.
Business Support: Act as a collaborate partner on behalf of the CEO and executive leaders (and a utility player) to drive results as needed across the business
Selectively dive into key issues to create clarity, action, and impact.
As/when appropriate, key ad hoc analysis around major business issues, decisions
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure alignment of FORTNA activities with the organizational strategy and reports regularly on goals progress and key business metrics to FORTNA business leadership and peers
Develop goals and metrics to drive execution of strategic initiatives
Drive continuous improvement to maximize organizational capabilities and realize financial gains
Provide hands-on oversight of projects to ensure timely execution, follow-up, and closure of issues
Assure that efforts to improve the efficiency of the company is emphasized through creative organizational management, effective use of tools, appropriate training, and continuous improvement
Quantify that continuous improvement projects follow sound methodology and execution practices
Work with international partners both inside and out of organization to improve local effectiveness.
Devise innovative strategies to cost-effectively accomplish objectives while ensuring that overall efforts are in concert with company requirements.
Manage risks and take aggressive measures to avoid incurring costs that typically have substantial financial impact
Serve as primary interface to identify problems, devise innovative solutions, negotiate, and reach mutually satisfactory agreement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate selected for this position will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning. This person will also need to be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. He/she must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel. This professional must demonstrate strong leadership skills, best demonstrated by the individual's ability to gain credibility with team members and senior management. The successful candidate will:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related subject or equivalent; an MBA is strongly preferred

Ability to showcase learning agility and ability to digest a large amount of information quickly and figure out what is most important
Previous leadership experience developing high functioning teams
Proven experience in a role entailing accountability and budget and fiscal responsibilities
Industry experience is preferred
