Holman Honda has an outstanding opportunity for a Service Advisor to join the Holman family.
What will you do?
Prepare service estimates, sell routine maintenance/repair services and conduct follow-ups regarding unsold services and customer inquires
Perform opening and closing responsibilities
Schedule appointments, answer phones and collect funds for services performed
Predict the time needed for completion and stay in constant communication with the customer during the repair process
Assist with the coordination of alternate transportation, rental car reservations, shuttle etc.
Sell needed maintenance services and related parts to customers
Identify customer requests
Conduct a complete vehicle walk around
Present multipoint inspection results to customers
Recommend needed maintenance services and related parts
Conduct a detailed active delivery of each vehicle
Make appropriate prospecting and follow-up contacts with Honda owners
Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with dealership policies
Write complete, accurate repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer policies
Provide estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance.
Provide in-depth information on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part options
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
What are we looking for?
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Intermediate skills in CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds software
1 year experience working in a service advisor or express service advisor capacity
Works independently on routine or general tasks, has depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department
Works collaboratively with other departments, to address legal, maintenance, recalls, or billing matters
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
Ability to work under pressure
Understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements and operations
Understanding of state and local laws and regulations related to automotive service
Knowledge of automotive labor time guide
Ability to support other's efforts, remain loyal to one another, and care for each other both personally and professionally
Excellent communication and customer relations skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain complex information in an accessible manner
Approach transactions with sales-minded professionalism and suggestively sell products and services to customers, including making clients aware of all packages and retail options available
Ensure absolute customer satisfaction with proper etiquette during follow-ups, regardless of whether the service recommendations were completed or not

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location. This is a commission eligible role, and employees can expect to earn an average monthly pay of $3,000-$10,000 with earning potential based on your personal performance.
