The Integration and Test group is a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technologists, and technicians within the Department of Spacecraft Development, ultimately responsible for space hardware test and integration which includes harness fabrication.
Objectives of this Role:
Support engineering in board, box, and spacecraft integration and testing.
Support engineering in the assembly of Ground Support Equipment.
Help maintain test lab cleanliness and equipment calibration.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Assist engineering in the integration and testing of spaceflight hardware, from board-level checkout through top assembly functional and environmental testing.
Collect and accurately record test data in accordance with the released test procedure.
Complete integration tasks per written instructions.
Develop test procedures and test scripts under engineering supervision.
Help track, maintain, and organize test equipment.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Specialized courses in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical training, including high-school trade or trade school is preferred.
Shift work required.
1 years: basic electronics experience.
An interest or training in electrical theory, mechanical theory, digital theory, safety, microcomputers, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques as it relates to technician work.
Some shiftwork required to support environmental testing.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
