Job Description:


  • Essential Job Functions

    The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all- inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.



    • Partner with Benefits Shared Service Center members, other Center of Excellence members, vendors, and business leaders to effectively meet the HR technology needs of the organization

    • Support configuration and troubleshooting of business processes in Workday SKUs, with emphasis on Workday and Benefits integrations

    • Oversees the development, testing configuration, and implementation of new projects, enhancements, and interfaces

    • Provide internal consulting to improve system processes by proposing new solutions and understanding full end-to-end impacts, driving system adoption

    • Responsible for translating business needs to system design, conduct system/data analysis and participating in testing and deployment activities

    • Oversee and support major Workday releases, to include researching new functionality and educate the HR team on enhancements as applicable

    • Manage Workday releases and updates, including researching functionalities, conducting testing, and launching new modules

    • Maintain accurate change management documentation to satisfy the company's internal/external audit controls and compliance practices

    • Foster ongoing Workday relationships, relevant memberships and engagement in Workday Community and User Groups

    • Create and maintain configuration documentation, test plans, test scripts

    • Maintain current integrations as well as develop, test, and deploy new integrations

    • Develop Business Intelligence dashboards based on business KPIs

    • Serves as a lead representative and liaison between HR, external vendors and other stakeholders for HR System design and implementation projects


    Education & Experience



    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    • Minimum 5 years of experience with Workday systems

    • Prior experience with Workday Benefits required

    • Familiarity with employee benefits and other HR policies and procedures


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Knowledge and understanding of business process concepts includes process mapping, process design

    • Ability to work with the numerous reports/documents containing confidential information

    • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills

    • Demonstrated organization and time management skills necessary to manage multiple projects simultaneously
